The Truth About Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO)

Dr. Rose Gidado, the Scientific and Assistant Director of National Biotechnology Development Agency, the woman in charge of Genetically modified organisms (GMO) animals and crops has admitted that she does not know the long term side effects of eating GMO foods or animal but still she believes is safe for my fellow Nigerians.

She has admitted that Europe has rejected GMO, so why is she ready to poison us with GMO food or crops for a slow death we must resist. This is nothing short of Hitler’s treatment or worse. Fellow Nigerians, China has over a billion populations but rejected GMO, we have fertile land and lesser population ,so the question should be Why Nigeria? .Only two African countries are trying GMO, Sudan and South Africa, None in Europe. We must reject this monster. There are other methods to repeal pest from plants and achieve better yields.

Also this GMO issue will make our Agriculture products a pariah in European Market worse than it is now. America with its new policy will not buy our Agricultural products but is happy to take our scarce dollars and send us GMO crops and animals that we do not need.

Nigeria is diversifying to Agriculture and America is no longer buying our oil. Is GMO leading our Nation to total destruction because GMO crop land cannot be retained.

Dr Mrs. Gidado and our government want to help Monsanto to use our Nation as guinea pig to recoup their money after Europe rejected GMO.

GMO is back door reconciliation because any land used for GMO can never be used for non-GMO, so it is slavery.

Can the Government and Gidado tell us why Burkinafaso threw Monsanto away from their country?

Nigerians, it is about time that someone drags this woman, Federal government and Monsanto, the producers of GMO crops to international criminal court.
