As the Muslim fasting period approaches, we will want to offer a few ideas on how our customers could have a complication free fasting that could be emotionally and spiritually fulfilling.

May the Almighty God grant you, your wishes and look upon you with mercy and grace.

  1. Have a glass of warm water with a little Sprinkle of lemon and freshly peeled and crushed ginger 30 minutes before food.
  2. Start your meal with fruit; pineapple and pawpaw are best options.
  3. Instead of heavy carbohydrate filled food, start with pepper soup or any other soup.
  4. Do not rush your food because you are hungry.
  5. Eat seasonal fruits and vegetable.
  6. Try and make all you eat Organic.
  7. Do not eat late night food. Preferable do not eat anything after 8:00pm.
  8. Do not fry, instead grill, it is better for your heart health.
  9. Drink water that has alkaline.
  10. Eat lentils instead of beans.
  11. Make onion and ginger part of your daily meal
  12. Be sensitive to the quantity of Sugar and Salt that you consume.
  13. It is harmful to health.
  14. Drink water immediately after breaking fast to keep you hydrated
